« on: November 13, 2002, 01:02:20 pm »

After trying Media Jukebox 8 and purchased it I now get mesg. Error installing media Jukebox box licence file is past experiation date.  It seemed to work fine and the charge showed up on my visa.  I then used my registration code it said registration now OK.  Upon tring to use Media jukebox again I get the same error.
Need help...Don't know what to do at this point.

I checked the FAQ and executed the instructions.  Msg. was displayed indicating Licence problem had been resolved.  When I opened up Media JukeBox received Msg. Licence file is past expiration (same as before). I tried this several times.

Note: I went thru this process prior to asking for help ...

     Still need help.....Thanks Frank

Hi Frank,

Each file you get is only good for two weeks. You need to do a restore to get a new key.

From the FAQ:

Q: I purchased a month ago, but when I try to reinstall, it doesn?t work.
A: Each install key can be used for a limited time. You can get a new install key, free of charge, by visiting the Restore Page

Thanks for your help.  I do not get the licence error when I bring up Media JukeBox  now BUT it will not play any of the music files I had move in from RealJukeBox after switching to Media JukeBox and was able to play with no problems.  Media Jukebox now acts like version 7 that had limited features.  I am able to play any CD downloads made to Media Jukebox on my Play List with no problems BUT I don't think I am running with the version 8 extra enhancements offered in that package as I was able to do so before.  I also get a box msg. "CANNOT DETERMINE THE VERSION OF REAL NETWORKS REAL PLAYER, VERSION 6 AND ABOVE NEEDED. "  To me this shows my version 8 is not performing correctly as it was playing these files with no problem before getting the Licence Errors.
Sorry to be a pain........Thanks.....Frank

Do a search on this  board for "Real Player 8" or Real Player" and you gonna find several threads (and probably an answer) about your problem.
