Problem viewing images
« on: May 10, 2004, 12:16:11 pm »

Hi there,

I use MC for all my photos.  It works really well, but last night, when I was transferring from cam. to HD via MC, I could not see the thumbs.  The files were there, but I couldn't see them in MC.  The list view was thumbnails (I think they are medium thumbs . . .).

How can I get MC to display thumbs (like usual)?

Thx.

Odd.  It should acquire the images and then open "recently imported" where you should see the thumbnails.

What version?

Drive space?

Drive space is relatively huge (about 100 gigs left), Pentium HT, new computer, XP etc.  (It's at home otherwise I'd post the info).

I basically use MC to tag and dwnld photos from my cam every day.  It worked fine on Saturday (and every day before), then for some reason, on Sunday night, I got icons instead of images (btw, files are viewable with windows file explorer).

I remembered somehting about this, searched the boards, found one of your posts re "theather view" (ctrl + u, I think).  But that didn't remedy the problem.  Anyway, I rebooted etc but I still have the same problem . . .

There are some options for thumbnails in the settings.  You can rebuild there if necessary.

What version?

I worked with the list options -> thumbnail options last night with no luck.

I'll post system info here on this thread tonight.

Thanks.
