3G iPod only recognized as external drive
« on: May 17, 2004, 12:51:51 pm »

Hey, folks...

Running MC 10 with a 3G iPod and am having an odd problem. At home, I'm able to plug in the iPod and see it as an iPod (after having MC work its magic on it). I brought the player into work, though, and when I plug it in, I only see the files in the root of the iPod. I tried rebuilding the database, but it didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
- Lee

What version of MC 10?

Under Tools->Options->Devices, do you have 'Enable WMDM support' checked? If so, uncheck it. Newer versions of MC 10 will prompt you about this.
