Track Info Question
« on: May 25, 2004, 06:03:18 am »

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have fields, such as genre, mood, etc., in a Track Info page which can be edited in the Track Info view?

I don't think that this is possible (without programming).

We can only use the information from the different library-fields in our track-infos, not change them.

I was going to ask pretty much the same question.

I guess if I want to see fields such as Review, Moods, Styles, Credits, I will have to move those tags into the fields which are displayed.
Five fields are displayed in some templates (Lyrics, Bios, Notes, Comments, Info)  If that is all we are limited to then we can certainly put whatever info we desire into those fields thus reassigning their use to our individual tastes.

Not ideal, but it works. The Move/Copy Fields command makes this easy with it's Move/Copy/Swap options.
