I like the new bright blue. It a bid more ... summer ! with the brighter colors and stuff. You shuld consider, if you got the time, toi make a Opus Summer with orange instead of blue and a bit of yellow in the brigther colors... I think that would be cool!

Could you share your media mode picture? It looks good.

I don't know what you mean by 'media mode picture'. If you mean the buttons, you can get them here.

Put it in your Custom Art directory.

Just want to add that both Bright Blue and Opulence can be resized to just the player window...sorta like a mini-me skin. I'll do the others soon.

Really nice work Dragyn. Opulence looks really nice. I just realised something you might not be aware of: The color of the grey bar at the bottom of the vis area (where you choose which vis/track info/... to display) can be configured. Top of my mine I can't think of which tag in the main.xml file it is. If you want I'll look it up.

I've been using Opus Mc (blue) since it was first released and I still love it just as much today. It's installed on all my PC's and would really take something special to make me change. If I were JimH I'd ask to have it as the default skin for MC.

Great work on the new skins but, like I said, you ain't getting Opus blue off any of my PC's just yet.

I'll see what I can do. Changing background colors isn't that hard from the XML...just the images.

I'm working on a v10 skin of my very first skin. Something I've wanted to do for a long time. Hopefully I'll have something soon.

Any chance you can fix Opus MC (Blue) so that it can be shrunk down to just the player bar like Opulence? The rest of the Opus Colors can almost shrink down, but still have an extra bar or two at the bottom...

I am just wondering whether it is possible for you to make the title bar a bit thinner.

I like this skin alot and also has the matching visual style. But the title bar for MC looks a lot fatter than the visual style in windows.

If cannot, then its ok.

This skin is sweet on its own.

For the opus skins, the player bar is technically shrunk down. If I lower the height anymore, the status bar actually goes on top of the image. If you have bottom toolbar buttons, it will overlap causing the volume slider not to work. So that's why it looks like it's not shrunk all the way down.

The titlebar is big because of the toolbar buttons.

The opulence search bar looks weird because there's no way to position text and that's the only way I could do it.

ok...did some more on opulence.

some things I remember doing:

added some inner shadows to player buttons
separator color
top border bottom edge (right side looked weird)
action window shadows
different search box design

some other stuff. let me know if there is something 'weird' (besides the search box) and if I should keep working on this.

it looks great man! I like the new play bottoms and the mute bottom. Action window looks great.
The volume slider looks odd... kindda pixelated especially when highlighted. Would you consider to make the corners right angeld ? I think it would look much better (I'm using MC full-screen.)
The searchfield looks okay. I don't see the problem.

Opus Orange looks great btw

Well I made a "Square Corners" version. It's at the top of the thread.

I can try and redo the slider...I'm not that good at this stuff.

The search box overlaps when there's a lot of text written. Looks fine when empty.

let me agree with everybody that this is an amazing skin!! i really think that it should come with the MC installations since its really so good. I dont know if its possible but i would love it if there was an option to have the same roundish slik play/pause/rew/fwr buttons and slider they have in opulance and the thunderstorm skins in the Opus MC (Blue). i love every aspect of the Opus MC apart from the rectangle butons

....

I agree with the buttons. I'll see what I can do about them. Blue will be the first version, others will follow. I'm still trying to get Olive put up. About 90% done with it. I have another color coming soon too..then I'm gonna work on my new skin...watercolor. Made one for MJ8 a long time ago and want one for 9/10/11.

I uploaded the wrong versions of opulence so the last fixes (post above this one) are not yet changed.

With your fantasic artwork skills do you thing you would be up to the challege of producing a NetRemote skin for MC?

Could you Opusify this?

It would be really great if you could produce something that would go with Opus Blue. The above image is a skin designed for a 240*320 PDA. Each component would need to be a separate image (png, jpg, or gif). i.e. background, window, play controls, slider, selected tab, unselelected tab rating stars etc.

Let me know if you can help. With your skills I'm pretty sure this could become the default MC skin shipped with NetRemote.

just so people know, I haven't forgotten to update the other skins. I was in fact making a netremote skin for jlee...which is pretty much done now.

some stuff might need rearranging but that can be done on a user basis.
