Any info about a read cache error?  Can't find anything in forum or in MJ help.

it might help if you

1. explain what you were doing when you got this error.
2. post the version of MJ8 your using.
3. post your system info that you can get from MJ8, Help, system info and paste that info into your next message.

then maybe someone can help you better.

I appreciate your suggestions.  Am using MJ 8.0.399.

The error did not happen each time a CD burning action was started, only sometimes. Didn't note the exact wording of the error message, but recall it said something about 'file cache' error when reading.  Didn't find any item or topic about 'cache', so thought I'd just ask if someone knew.

By the way, I posted a question under 'Media Jukebox 8
' > 'MediaJukebox 8.0.399' concerning the best method of burning a data CD.  If possible, would you look at that and tell me what you think?

Thanks,
Will

I too have had the following error:

Unexpected failure reading file cache
File/Disc read error encountered

There seems to be little rhyme or reason to the frequency or timing of the above error. There is no consistency between which file the error occurs on, as I have burned all of my files before. I was buring a data CD of Mp3s. Any help is apprecaited.
