I get constant errors wit the media server.  

How can Ii send you the microsoft error?
I have saved it as a text file. It is too big to paste here.
Here is my system info.

What kind of errors? Is Media Server crashing? Are you streaming to the TiVo when it happens? What kind of files (mp3? wma?)?

Upgrade to 10.0.149, I've made a couple of fixes recently that might help.

Media server crashes. I have the error report That Windows XP creates (crash dump).

I have the crash while I am streaming music and I am browsing my collection.
It happens much more often with Media server than it did with the Tivo server.

I have the TiVo hooked up with a wired connection to a Linksys wireless router.
The PC is also hard wired.

All of my files are MP3. The have been created from the original CD's

I did the upgrade last night. I will let you know if it crashes again.

Let me know all I can do to help because I love the organizational features of Media Center.

I still get frequent errors while playing music and browsing my collection with the new version. I also got an error while viewing pictures but it did not cause a complete crash of the Media Server  .

So it crashed with the TiVo server too, just not as often?

TiVo Server would crash rarely. It crashes every time I use the Media Server. It could be my setup or it could be something else. I love the features of the Media Server over the TiVo Server I just wish it did not crash as much. Once in a while would be fine. Even being careful and going slowly through the screens does not help any.

It sounds like a hardware problem, but I can't tell for sure.

Is there a sequence of steps you can do to make it crash? I mean EVERY time you do those steps, media server crashes?

Did you upgrade to the latest?

I have the latest software installed.

It happens when I am browsing my music while I am playing.

So it just crashes at random moments while you're browsing?

Never during music?

Does anything else besides TiVo desktop crash?
