I am running MC 10.149 on win xp with 256M memory. I have over 20,000 songs. All was fine - I could play music, burn music, etc. But Now I am pushing the limits on this system (it appears) I recently added bios, lyrics, and cover art for all 20,000+ songs that were found all imbedded in the file header. Now MC takes 80 seconds to load and plays fuzzy and does not burn cd's properly.
Is this want should be expected?
I got the impression that the database did not have a stress problem when loading that much data.
Please help as I don't know if this is a machine malfunction or an MC issue.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
It is interesting that my free memory goes down to less than 4MB on occasion.
