Backup & restore of 'Options' settings
« on: July 19, 2004, 10:08:22 am »

Where are my configuration settings stored (menu customizations, view settings, etc.) and can I back them up & restore them on a reinstall?

Also - any plans for Auto-Save of Libraries, etc. in future versions?

Thanks.  MC is the BEST.

Thanks, Alex.  I can manually backup & restore thru regedit.

Anybody know if there are plans for building AutoSave functionality into future versions?
It sure would provide some peace of mind to those of us who spend many hours building and refining our media library...

You could create a batch file to copy your library (all the *.jmd files) and run it as a scheduled task.  On the other hand you could do the job properly and get some software such as drive image to take regular backups of all your data.
