Recording problem
« on: July 19, 2004, 10:10:43 am »

I'm new to this so sorry if it's a bit basic. My problem is that I can only record to one (left hand) speaker.

I've been through the tips section but nowhere does it seem to cover this. I am recording to an integrated sound card via aline-in socket using a direct connector from my cassette headphone socket.

Help Please.

Is the connector on the cable mono?

Each "plug" has a single plug in point with two green bands around it. I don't know if this is mono but it came from a Technics tower hi-fi system I recently replaced when it connected to the tuner. This system was stereo.

There was a recent thread about a similar problem in MC forum: Topic: MC10 recording only left channel from LP's & cassettes.
