Coasters -
« on: July 19, 2004, 02:17:50 pm »

I am a long time MJ and MC user.  I have MC 10 right now.  No problems at all until about a week or two ago after an automatic update.

I can not burn a whole CD anymore.  Sometimes it stops right as it starts and other times it gets about 40% through and it just ejects the CD (which is a coaster now) and the only message on the screen is, "Logical unit is in process of becoming ready."  No other errors.

If reboot my machine (2.4 gig processor with 1gig memory, Win XP) I can burn CDs from any other program, Napster, ITunes, Real, Roxio, but not MC.  If I try to burn from MC then try any other program (listed in the last sentence) without rebooting they also fail.  So if I don't ever try to use MC to burn then all is fine, but if I use MC to burn then I have to reboot or no other program will burn.

Like I said this is a brand new issue.

Thought??

Thanks!

What version of 10?

If you are using 10.0.150 grab it from the top of this board.

Thanks Jim & imjustaGamer...

No need to research the PIO issue because when I loaded 10.0.150 like imjustaGamer recomended all issues were resolved.

Thanks for the input everyone...

Have a great day!
