Listening to Audible Books in MC10

I'd like to listen to Audible books on my PC... will MC 10 "read" Audible's AA format?

Did you try installing QuickTime?  MC will then play the files.  MC needs the codecs that QT installs.

yes I have QT installed... MC doesn't "see the files

Do you mean that within MC you browse to the directory that contains the Audible files and MC shows this directory as empty?  That's odd because even without making MC the default application for aa files, it should still see and play them.  Actually, I believe that it should "see" them even before it has the proper codecs to play them.
