Importing Video Files
« on: November 09, 2002, 08:49:08 am »

I have never been able to successfully import video (mpegs mostly) into MJ, I have all files types checked when doing an import, and MJ is my default player for mpgs.  Why won't they import?
Brian

PS hope you guys are all well!

Do they play OK in Windows Media Player? MJ uses the WMP playback engine so you should make sure that works OK. Try upgrading to the latest version of WMP. For MPEG's there is no choice of codec, but for AVI's make sure you have the correct codecs installed.
If none of these work, paste your system info from Help->System Info into this thread and we'll have another look

They play fine, they just don't import when I run an import.  However they will import when I right click on the file it'self.

Very strange. Do they show up as failed to import, and if so, are there any Details?
