Playlist view
« on: July 31, 2004, 06:28:49 am »

I am stuck at work for literally three days (can't use MC here) and I am discussing Media Center with someone via email.

If you create a playlist can you view it as you can view the "all" Audio on your PC...with Album/Artist view.

The problem is if you import your major archive into Audio then start to import other stuff while making playlists, the files obviously show up in the Audio section.

So then you have to create a playlist for your major archive so you can in effect weed all that other stuff out.

We want to view the main archive or a particular playlist with the functionality (artist & album windows) of the Audio window.

Is this possible? If not would you all agree this makes sense?

thanks for help,
Jon

Okay this looks pretty good. But, there is no option in the Select Files to Show function that lets you simply choose a location or folder on disk. You can choos by artist which is okay, but not very realistic as I will be adding stuff to Media Center, like comedy and mixes which I only want to show as playlists and not in "main archive" which will use the windows view of artist/album for functionality.
