PRICE and UPGRADE info is here:

10.0.154 (8/2/04)

1. Fixed: Audible bookmarks work on iPod again.
2. Fixed: When converting to APE when converting on the fly to Portables, 'Options' is now correctly disabled.
3. Fixed: Conversion to APE when transferring to Portable Devices will not give 'Transfer failed" error.
4. Fixed: Multiple Install Wizards could be run at one time -- causing possible installations problems.
5. Fixed: Specifying a CD drive in the WM license backup tool could cause MC to hang.
6. Fixed: Trying to a rip a CD back to the same CD drive could cause MC to crash.
7. Changed: MC no longer uses the ID3v1 album for the band field when the ID3v2 tag doesn't contain a band.

I can't encode my rips to Uncompressed Wave -- when I try, no new files are created.  Other encoding formats work fine with the same CD.  I get the exact same results on two different systems.

We're well past the point of daily upgrades to Media Center 10. How about putting some of these new upgrades where Media Center 10 can find them with "check for updates"?

We always wait a few days to make sure we haven't created a problem when we fixed others.

Try uninstalling and removing the registry settings.  You may lose playlists and settings.  Backup first.
