New version. No TV sound
« on: August 05, 2004, 08:25:09 pm »

MC automatically updated itself to 10.0.155 today.  All of a sudden I get NO sound on the TV.  Big problem!

I have no problem using the latest version. There have been no updates specific to TV in recent versions.

Try one or more of the following:

1. Reinstall Media Center.

2. Open Windows Volume control and make sure channels are not muted.

3. Run TV Configuration and make sure you selected the correct channel on Audio page.

Thanks for the reply.  The problem turned out not to be MC...

..unless MC has the ability to unplug the physical connection between my video and audio cards.  Actually that's the only good explanation I can figure for how it happened (as I was sitting at the desk and I know no one touched the wires).  Go figure.
