However, if you really wanted, MC should show thumbs in 'My Computer' for the card. If that isn't working, it'd be a bug in MC 11.
Well, don't fret. I haven't tried looking at the "removable drive" (aka flash card) via your "My Computer" node, so I'm not claiming that there is a bug or anything.
I don't necessarily oppose or disagree with your workflow paradigm, but unfortunately, it excludes the scenarios involving quick point, shoot, and save sessions.
For instance, my need for this came about Friday when I was putting together my new system. For the first time, I had a digital camera around, so instead of writing down all the serial numbers and device part numbers, I figured I would would just take a picture.
I have a relatively good non-SLR camera, but it creates horrible thumbnails, so I never know if a shot is good (in focus, good lighting, etc.) until I view it in full form on the computer. Because of this, I generally take about 6-7 shots of the same scene to increase the odds that at least one of them will be a keeper.
Blah, blah, blah...
The point is I generally do not ever download all the shots--the thumbnails produced by ADCSee or Windows Explorer has
always been good enough to distinguish between the shots that are in focus and the shots that are not.
Oh, well, anyway, sorry to ramble. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
