It could be a corrupt file and/or have bad tags. I would move (or just delete) the file (and any other problem files) out of your target directory. That should allow importing to proceed normally.

>>how do i specify a target directory were do i go what do i do

Where do you store your music files now? For instance, on my machine I have 2 directories that store music. They are d:\mp3 and d:\ogg (pretty self evident what file types each holds). After I rip a mp3, then I need to update the MJ database to include it. So I run Tools>Import Media, then in the blank area to the right of Search label, I type in d:\mp3, then click on the OK button. That is what I meant by specifying a target directory.
