Audible files work in MC but not on IPOD

I finally got MC to play my audible files with no problems. And it syncs them to my ipod with no problems. However my ipod will not play them. It recognizes them and they are present on my playlist, however when I click play, nothing happens. Any clues???

Try transferring an audible file to your iPod one time with iTunes. If the file plays, reinitialze the iPod from within MC and transfer the file. If it plays, you should never need to do that again (unless you reformat your iPod) and all subsequent audible files should play.
