Ways to imitate iTunes tools in MC10?
« on: September 02, 2004, 06:03:34 pm »

I just started using again MC10 after a year or so. So far I like this version very much, but I miss a couple of features in iTunes.

Is there any way to name files in such a way as to get the same result as using iTunes Disk Number tagging? I rip mostly classical albums and would prefer all the tracks of several CD's to drop into one folder. The iTunes name looks like 1 01 (Track Name), 2 01 (Track Name),etc. When I use this naming convention in MC10 my iPod won't list the tracks in the correct order. Instead the tracks pair up, 1 1, 2 2, etc. I have to re-sort these tracks in MC10 everytime I launch the program. I can't find anything like Sort By Disc Number.

iTunes also has (or had, until SP2 seems to have killed this option until a patch comes along) the Join CD Tracks feature. Is there any way to get this result in MC10?
