Playing Now in v11
« on: September 16, 2004, 08:49:32 am »

In v10, Ctrl-2 jumped the view to Playing Now, in v11 it changes the window to mini-me.

I can see why this has been done - but is there a new shortcut to Playing Now?

Also - the release info for v11 mentions being able to see Playing Now and Media Library simultaneously with split screens - can anyone explain how to do this please?

Many thanks....

Alt+2

Split view functionality will be exposed in the UI at a later date.

This doesn't work for since many builds back!

It works here on the latest build.

I was in Media Library, held down Ctrl+Shift and clicked Playing Now. I now have both showing.

Cool.  I never knew this.   Hmmm.  I feel more bug reports coming like PN keeps scrolling itself back to the top when a change is made in the other pane.

does Matt mean "Split view functionality will be exposed in the UI at a later date." will allow us to keep it permanently in the Playing Now view, and still be able to browse the library? I have looked and looked and cant figure out a way to keep the Playing Now screen in the upper right when navigating through various views/media/etc. I would really love to be able to start a video, navigate through my other folders and media and keep the visualization screen up there... this player is almost perfect, if I could just find out how to do that. Thanks in advance if anyone could enlighten me further.

Matt
Yes, CNTL+Shift does work for me also.  Thanks for the reminder on how to get the split view.   This is great.
I am about ready to delete MC10 and use 11 in production.
Great job....
