Error 31
« on: September 21, 2004, 09:48:10 pm »

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what error #31 is caused by?  After having the program open for about three minutes, a pop up windows comes up and says, "Media Center has encountered Error #31.  Some essential component is missing or corrupt.  Please uninstall and reinstall the latest version.  If this error persists, contact JRiver."

I have uninstalled 10.0.155, reinstalled 10.0.161, yet the problem persists.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Something is changing / corrupting an essential file.

Cracks or viruses could cause this.

Reboot and reinstall might help.

I had this happen when my library became corrupt. I had to use WinZip to manually repair the library, and all was good. Now I back up my library almost every day as I lost a few playlists that I had.
