web media improvements?
« on: September 24, 2004, 10:45:08 am »

I thought I'd bring this up again, now that work on v. 11 is well on its way. As far as I am concerned, web media is currently the weakest part of the audio part of MC. There has been no improvements to this in a loooong time.  It would be great if the interface to web radio could be improved. iTunes is a good example of how elegant (and, consequently, useful) web radio can be. Fewer stations are offered, but all of them work and fining the one you want is extremely simple.

I wonder what others think about this. Otherwise, v. 11 rocks.

Radio improvements would be great!

I'm not sure I like iTunes' way of doing things though...

I used to listen to web radio on MJ7 and 8 all the time.... but it just got more frustrating to use as fewer and fewer stations continued to work.... so I gave up using it all together. I do miss it though. Fixing this would add a lot back into MC IMHO.
