I may well be very dumb, and I have almost know knowledge of html, but I'm trying to learn and grateful for help.

I have been adapting someone else's track info template. I've tried to add the artist bios to the template. I have added several other fields (bitrate, lyrics) that work fine, but the template just displays the line "trackinfo_insert_bios" instead of the bio data.

Can anyone guess what I'm doing wrong? If so, many many thanks!

Maybe you can try with this: TrackInfo_Insert(Bios)

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I just get displayed "TrackInfo_insert_(Bios)".

The fields I can display are:

notes, lyrics, bitrate, comment, plus the existing fields from the template (artist, album, track etc)

The fields that refuse to display are bios and a custom defined field called source.

Sorry - I really am dumb. Removing the last underscore works. Many, many thnaks.

Why is that? Some fields display with "TRACKINFO_INSERT_FIELDNAME" and others require "TrackInfo_Insert(Fieldname)"

Thanks to the link I fianlly understand - many thanks (though that might not count for much from the dumbest dumbhead on the block).
