 I'm having problems with the cd text not on cd after I burn, I have that option checked but it's not on the burned cd can anyone help with this problem.

I thought it was just me.  Noticed it for quite a while now.

it's been awhile for me to. I kind of gott'en use to seeing the name the song when it's playing. this old way track 1 track 2. etc. sucks.

I can't reproduce the problem here. Even if cd-text isn't getting written to the disk, you shouldn't see "Track 1,2" etc. since MC writes entries for the burned disk into it's own removable database and also the cdplayer.ini file.

Can you verify with another program whether there is cd-text on the disk? For example, cdrwin has a TOC (table of contents) reading function that will tell you exactly what cd-text (if any) is on the disk:

Not working for me either John.   Neither CDRWIN nor my own utility find any CD-TEXT.

an annoying problem, for now i've resorted to exporting .m3u playlists and burning them via Nero. fiddly but i like having the cd text.

Sorry about the delay in fixing this problem. It turns out I couldn't reproduce the problem because I was running a "debug" version of the burner control. After I replicated the problem on the release version, I was able to fix it.  Not to point any fingers, but it appears to have been a Microsoft compiler optimization bug. The next build "96" will have the fix in it.
