Help with setup
« on: October 06, 2004, 08:18:56 pm »

I am having problems getting MC to startup and run.  Initially after installing it MC found all of my mp3s and it seemed to work just fine.  After closing the program and restarting now all I get is the program opens but in the main window is says "Loading page. Please wait...".  Does anyone have any idea of what might be wrong.  It looks like MC is taking about 99% of the processor.  Is it looking for CD cover art or something else?  Any help is appreciated.

It's probably trying to load the start page, a web page.  You may have a firewall problem.

Thanks for the help.  I turned off my firewall and the start page now loads, but it is still taking 99% of the CPU and I can't get it to show the list of my music.  Do you have any other thoughts on what I might try?

I should probably also mention that I have a library of approximately 22,000 mp3s and that I am trying to use MC with Main Lobby/Music Lobby (I installed the plug-in).
