PROBLEM RESTORING
« on: November 02, 2002, 07:03:22 am »

My five year old daughter managed to get out of the game she was playing and uninstalled MJ 8.0. When I went to restore it, after entering the reg. code, I got an error message saying that the file MJEXTMAN.EXE could not be found.  Where do I go from here? ?

Did you try the FAQ under Jukebox/Purchase above?

If that doesn't help, posting more details would be good.  Copy system info from MJ help and paste here.

mjextman.exe should be in your MJ program directory.

Actually, starting a few releases ago, it's installed in /winnt/system32.  Not sure why.

You're correct.  It was done about a month ago because RealOne now started disabling its playback engine if it iwas started from the MJ program directory.

>> Time for adult supervision!
This Past Week Recent Studies Revealed that Adults are failing to do as good as a job as there parents (Source Fox News).

So I am afraid it will not help.
