DFX Problem

Is there a way to install DFX when ever you want.

When I download DFX to Media Center I can't somehow install it when ever I want. When it downloads it stays on Media Center and, I have to always, download DFX only so I can install it. Is there a way to install DFX anytime you want thanks. :D
