7.1 SOund decoding not working in MC10

I always use MC10 for viewing DVDs and last night it had returned to Stereo! It was the same for Win DVD.

I couldn't find the cause so reinstalled WinDVD 6 and the 7.1 decoding came back. However, MC10 is still just stereo.

How can I restore this?
