Hi! I hope someone can help me. I am brazillian, i have de tv tuner card Play Tv HD (prolink) it uses the chip Conexant 23883. The problem is that i can´t see tv with Media Center 9 or 10 because my country , Brazil, isn´t listed among the supported countries. What do i have to do ?? Here in brazil the tv system is Pal-M.

You must move to a country that is listed.

Or

Other countries may use the same tv format, select one of them.

Does this device come with WDM driver? If not, you have to install WDM driver.

Play TV HD - it does not mean High-definition TV, does it? If it is high-definition TV, it will not work with MC. MC only supports analog TV, not digital TV presently.

Nice advice but i can´t move to another country... I think adding support for Brazil is a thing much easier to be done. I don´t know the tv format of the listed countries, here in Brazil the tv system is Pal-M. I´ve tried some countries in the list but I only get sound.

I have installed the WDM driver... my card works with other programs. HD means High Definition, but here I have analog TV, and it works well in this tv card.

When you say you only get sound, are you looking at the "Playing Now" view?

PAL_M seems to be used only in Brazil.

Do you have DirectX 9.0b installed? If so, you need to install a hotfix from Microsoft. See my reply in this thread: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=19028
