Something that's been going on since at least version 10.x... I can reproduce this EVERY time. I place a blank CD in the G (CD-burner) drive and the Windows window pops up asking me what I want to do. I say nothing and continue.
I then select Burn CD or DVD and start Dragging-and-Dropping files to the burn queue. MC then freezes while the HDD light bilnks on and off about once a second. Depending on the size of the file it will stay frozen until it's finished doing what it's doing. This will happen for EVERY track that I select, and also when I am just scrolling through my library. I can see that when I place a Playlist in the queue to burn the dialog of "Analyzing Devices" comes up and MC is frozen until it's done doing that. If I eject the blank CD then MC returns to normal and everything is fine until I put the blank CD back in.
I have Norton AV 2004 running and tried disabling the AutoProtect feature but it didn't seem to help. Can someone help? I have been using Nero to make my Audio CD's but I would really like to be able to use MC. Thanks!
