I might add this is a slide show with music. I want it to play in the same order off the cd as it plays off the playlist. Thanks.

Doesn't the slideshow app work out the order from some sort of control file?

I am just using MJ and burning the disk from a play list. As I understand it data files are always burned in alphebetical order or by numbers. I can make the list with numbers but it still burns it in alphebetical order. I know it can be done but I forgot how and have the newer mj version which may be different.

I once had a similar question and GHammer was nice enough to reply with how to add a number prefix to each file.  He said:

Once you get to Burn CD choose Options.
CD/DVD File naming
Custom
Check the box Prefix the list order to the CD filename.

Thanks Bullish Dad. That worked. I wish they would put those directions in help. At least I looked for them and couldn't find anything that seemed to work.
I also noticed that sometimes mj and even my computer reads my slide show disk wrong and makes it appear it isn't in order. I have to close it down and reboot and voila, there it is in order. Wasted 5 disks before I figured it out.
