RMX file playback issues

Haven't posted in some time here but now I have a problem that I hope someone can give me help with. How do you you play audio files with the .rmx file tag? And is there a way to change the file format to just .mp3 or .ogg or anything? Real player just plain sux.  >:(Long Live Media Jukebox!  ;D
