Incorrect settings for web media
« on: December 16, 2004, 12:58:31 pm »

How can I report an incorrect setting for a web media (radio station) source?

This is WBAP.  I'm not sure what the stream URL is set to, since it seems to be wrapped around a Perl script on JRiver's servers, but the raw URL should be http://abcrad.sc.llnwd.net:12030/listen.pls (MP3) or http://rope.wbap.com/real_player/wbap.ram (RealAudio).

I can open the URL and listen to the stream either from within my web browser, or by opening it via File->Open URL in MC, but not via the station listing at Media Library->Web Media.

Also: how can I add my own radio station even if it already exists in the server's database?  Example: the server provides the RealAudio feed (it's broken, as described above, but assume it's not).  If I want to use the MP3 feed instead, I seem to not be able to do that except by opening the URL directly.

Thanks

It doesn't let me add a station that already exists, though.
