Laptop Drive Synch
« on: December 30, 2004, 09:01:08 pm »

Hi,

All of my music tracks are in .ape format on my HTPC.

Using MC11 and configuring my laptop as a "handheld" device, I am able to convert my selected tracks from .ape to .mp3 and copy them to the laptop drive.

But, they all end up in a single folder.  Is there a way to duplicate / preserve my htpc folder structure (music\artist\album\tracks.mp3) on the laptop drive during this process?

Taking it a step further, if I use MC11 on the laptop as well, is there an "automatic" way to have it's library be a subset (based on my selection / playlist / etc) of my larger HTPC library, except as .mp3's on the laptop?  Preserving & transferring my ratings, audio analysis, etc?

Thanks,
David
