Upon first plugging in IPOD, i got a message (It was in all CAPS, Something like "MC has not stored information about this device") IS THIS THE INITIALIZE Process everyone talks about? I hit ok, and 2 seconds later, IPOD showed up in my "Drive and Devices Tree" I clicked on Handheld Devices / Ipod in lower left hand Corner, dragged some files over and hit transfer but no go. Now I notice that in tha same "Ipod" box in lower left corner, under the word OPTIONS, it says "No Device". I have reset it, unplugged reset, all combinations - No Luck. The Portable Device Plug In is at version is 11.0.20 & System Info explains the rest below..
I could be doing something really stupid guys, so dont overlook the obvious but all I know my wife is saying "but my Dad (computer illiterate) said it was SO EASY TO USE, why are you (software Engineer) hav ing so many problems?
