I've finally been getting around to setting up my AST remote for use with MC. I ended up splurging on Girder for greater capability and because of an apparent bug.
I found that when I used the Girder ast.dll file as remote plug-in for MC10/11 that it worked fine, until I pressed the little blue disc control.
This remote has a blue disc that registers every 22.5 degrees as a seperate command. If I had the plug-in activated and pressed this button, it would crash MC. I didn't have to have it associated with an action. I actually couldn't associate it with an action, since it would crash in the options window as well.
Has anyone else seen this? Figured out a fix?
I don't know alot about the codes that the remotes generate, but I do see that all the buttons on the remote register as integers in Girder. The disc however registers differently. It is the nearest integer degree followed by a "-1". So pressing up yields a "0-1", down is "180-1", west-northwest is "292-1". Maybe that has something to do with it?
Thanks,
Bill
