There seems to be no correct place to complain about this...
« on: January 12, 2005, 03:36:36 pm »

So I'm doing it here. There seems to be no way whatsoever to send an email to a human being at JRiver, so I've been stuck. I registered and tried having it send me the activiation e-mail 3 times and none of them showed up in my e-mail or spam filter over the last day.

So I finally had to have someone register for me and create an account just so I can log on and complain about not being able to create an account.

How does one get forum account registration issues fixed? I couldn't even change the account that was created for me to have my own e-mail and password because it complains that my e-mail must be valid (meaning I guess that it cannot be changed or something.)

You're at the correct place to complain ... or get support.
If you don't get help, don't give up.
It helps to have a subject line that identifies the problem ... sort of like a headline.
Then be specific about your problem and what you have tried to resolve it.

I've read your message and I'm still not sure exactly what the problem is.
Is it a problem with the forum registration or the Media Center software and registration?

But, as I said, don't give up. People actually do care here. Maybe you could try posting again with more specific information.

Ditto.  Me neither.  :-\

Are you using Hotmail? I have had problems receiving registrations from a few places with hotmail.... Try creating a new account with another provider.
