Split View Feature Request

I always use MC splitted into 2 views the upper window for playing now and the bottom one for any view i would like to select.

But when using MC with split views i noticed that MC lacks a feature that would make it very handy which is adding an option to any splitted view to make it locked so when changing views from the tree only the non locked view changes to the selected view... and that would be very easier to surf MC views rather than pre selecting the view i want to change the view in it beacue i accedently change the view i didnt want to change by forgetting to select it first.

Hope you add this feature.
