Can anyone help please...

Using the latest NR release and 199 MC11...

If I use NR to control My HTPC which is running a remote library, album art is not displayed
If I use a local library everything is fine
anyone else having this problem?

Can you try this without netremote in the picture? I'd like to know if it is a problem with Library Server alone, or with Library Server only when controlled by Net Remote.

Album art works fine in the remote library itself
but isn't displayed in netremote when controlling the remote library

If I use the same netremote CCF to control a local library the album art works fine

I saw the same problem when using NetRemote and it dates some while back. Originally I had the cover art embedded in the file but more often than not, NetRemote wouldn't display the cover art. It was absolutely random, sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. After moving all the cover art outside of the file as folder.jpg it worked every time. When I installed MC11, I also noticed that with library server no cover art was shown in NR regardless of it being internal or external. When importing the files normally, it worked fine.

I'd be also very interested in a fix as the library server is great apart from that!

John - I should add that the cover art is external to the files and stored in a single directory on the same server as the music files

I've just updated to 201 (server and client) and the problem seems to have been solved - I'll keep you posted if I speak too soon
