use of remote in theater view
« on: February 05, 2005, 10:34:50 am »

Is it my imagination or does theater view use different IR codes to the standard view.

I've programmed a remote to use standard keystrokes to control MC 11 (build 093) but the curser keys in theater view don't seem to work. I can use a keyboard to move around but not the remote.

Everything works in standard view but not theater view.

Anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

Cursor keys on the keyboard also work in Theater View.  There should be no difference.  What happens when you use your keyboard?

That's my point. the keyboard cursor keys work fine, but not the cursor keys on my remote.

The remote cursor keys work fine in standard view but not when the theater is in use.

I perhaps should add that I'm using DigiSVC which came with my Nebula TV card. It maps the remotes' buttons to keystrokes. Next Track, Prev Track etc all work fine in all MC modes. It's just the cursor keys. Mind you Esc doesn't work either.

I've also got a Pronto, so if you point in the direction of the CCF I hear has been created then I could use that.

Thanks

Please ignore my last reply I'v realised that none of the remote functions work in Theater view, so there must be something wrong with the keyboard redirect.

However if you can point me towards the pronto files I'll use that instead

thanks
