MC 11 Bug: Files transfered to Handheld as Zero length files
« on: February 07, 2005, 07:53:20 am »

Problem:
In MC 11.190, files transfered to Handheld as Zero length files.(haven't tested earlier versions).  After choosing transfer, the file structure is created on the handheld correctly but all files have zero size.

Diagnosis:

- this happens only if the files are on a network driver (same computer but network path).

- it occurs both when a path is defined as handheld and when an actual handheld is used.

- if convert media is converted to another format, the problem disappears. (mp3-> wma)

Can you give an example of the network path for a file which is failing?

Even a simple path like:
\\Main\MUSIC SHARED\test.mp3
fails.

It should be related to tags or access rights because WMA conversion works.

Tolga,

Thanks for the report. I got this figured out. It will be fixed in the next build of MC 11.
