Recording From Mixer
« on: March 20, 2005, 02:16:29 pm »

I have been using MJ for several years and have never had a problem with anything.

Recently, when I record from my mixer the files come out with skips or repeated words in them. I have recorded many  things both from inputs and streaming audio with no prolems in the past.

I have a very good broadband connection so I have no problems with the stream. I even listen to the stream as it is recording and the stream is fine, but the result is not.

This happens even when there is no other activity on the system. I can leave it alone with just MJ and the stream and it still does it.

Any ideas on the problem or a fix.

Is it possible that something else is using a lot of CPU?  Virus checker for example.

Did you change anything?

And the source should make no differeence to the recorder. If it is recordeing from my mixer it doesn't know the origin of the sound.
