CD track switching doesn't work right
« on: February 22, 2005, 01:54:06 pm »

I purchased Media Center 10 in June - 04.  I love it.  I have 12,000 songs loaded - I rip, I burn, I listen on very good speakers.    Today I encountered my first problem.
I put in a cd to play - and it did!!  I decided to skip to song 3 and it groaned out noise in v e r y s l o w  sounds.   I thought my CDROM was broke and it is not!   I tried other CDs - same thing!   It will play straight through 1 thru 10 but if you skip from song 1 to 2 to 3 or back to 1, there is a distinct problem.

These CDS play on the Windows Media Player - and I can skip from song 1 to 6 to 2 to 4.    These CDs do not play on my Media Center - can you help??

Under MC Options for Devices, try checking or unchecking "digital playback".
