Hello everybody...

1)
I am looking for customizing a view, showing a column with the [Last Played] field, but displayed as a date ( day/month/year ) and no as it is ( hh/mm/ss ago )

I would like to know if it is possible, and if yes, how?...

- I have created a [MultiGenre] field (data type=List,semicolon delimited).
- Before importing mp3, files are allready tagged with genre as "genre1;genre2;genre3;etc..."
- each time I import an album, I do
   Library Tools/Move,Copy Fields... and I copy [Genre] in [MultiGenre].

Then each track can have more than one genre with the [MultiGenre] field used.

As I tag files within MC, changing the [MultiGenre] field, adding or deleting values, I afraid that I sometimes forgot to update the original [Genre] field.

I would like to make a smartlist showing files with [MultiGenre] different than [Genre], But I don't know how to do this...

Thanks for the info. Hope this is not too much OT but, do you know of a way to port that "expression" to a PlayingNow plug-in skin? I definitely prefer knowing that a song was last played on 05-11-2004 than 1,3 years ago  (By the way, I love the skins you made for that plug-in)

I first wanted to use such an expression in columns... but nevermind.
Dates can't be sorted, too.

But I can make now an history of played tracks, and it was what i wanted to do.

I think MC should be improved in this way...

I don't think that's possible atm. To the best of my knowledge, PlayingNow can only call on values that exist in the database. The way I understand it, MC is calling the same info, then performing the 'formatting' on the fly before displaying it.

I do hope the expressions make the cut when MC 11 goes gold, but there's a chance it might not make it. If it does, then it might be worth chasing up, but untill we know for sure, I can't see any changes happening.
