- there is a problem with importing / playing files over a network
- the windows 2000 machines on my network have shared mp3/ogg directories
- some of the shared directories have permission bits set such that files can be directory listed but not opened, even for reading
- this causes MediaJukebox to crash when it tries to read a file in these directories
