Should Media Jukebox 8.xx be able to play Real Media files *.rm *.ram etc.  without having to download and install Real Player?

Heyou52,

Real Player is required due to Real's copyrights. A minimum version can be installed. Read the installation questions carefully - most will be "no" but not all.

Right, gotcha  I'll avoid putting Real anything on my PC, from my last experiences of it.

I had the same problem. That thread got me across the RealPlayer barrier. I had lived for a long time just not playing r** files. One experience with them "taking over" your computer and you get REAL shy. (Pun intended)

If there is nothing you want to listen to in Real format[radios or tv] just stay away from any Real program.
If you really need it NOT realOne at any price.Install RealPlayer 8 in this case.You can make it behave itself at 90%

PS; i said :install RealPlayer8 NOT Charlemagne8.
There is no way you can make him behave at all........
Beside it ,C8 is much much more friendly than RP8....

I'm confused. Do you want to install Real Player 8 or Charlemagne 8? Which did you say is friendlier?
