License Question
« on: November 01, 2004, 01:08:24 pm »

hello, i hope someone at jriver can help me.  i purchased an upgrade to get a license for beta version 11 several weeks ago.  i recentle purchased a new comp and tried to use the key i was given when i purchased the upgrade license.  when i did so i received an error message indicating the license was no longer valid, it had expired.  i went to the restore page and tried to get a new license but all i received were license for version 10.  i tried it 2-3 times last night.  now it says i have 7 out of 10 tried left.  please can you send me the licenses for beta 11.  my purchase name is dynamic@dynamickid.org.  oh, and when i purchased the upgrade i never received a new registration code.  PLEASE HELP

Hi Dynamic,

You used a different e-mail for the MC11 purchase. I'll send it to you at the dynamic kid address.

I used the same e-mail for my MC10 registration as my MC11 registration.

When I try to restore from the internet, I get sent my MC10 code (inputting my MC11 code says it's expired).

Any help appreciated!

Look for you registration code in your old e-mail.  It's from buy-button@jriver.com.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem with my MC 11 license.  I have an email from buy-button@jriver.com dated March 25 with my registration code for MC 11, however when I try to restore my license from the restore page (https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi) using this code I get a message indicating that the license could not be found.  When I subsequently requested that the registration code be emailed to me (just in case), all I got via email were codes for MC 8,9,10 but not 11.  Please help.

How did you pay for the MC11 license?

Ed, go to the paypal support page:
https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/paypal_support.cgi
and enter your e-mail. This should fix the problem.

Thanks,

j
