I just want to post to see if I can get a response to what I think is a bit strange. I thought that APE was more or less the preferred file type when it comes to Media Center, but I have two issues that points to differ but these can of course be my local problems.
1. G-Force gold visualization and cover art during track change is not displayed from my ape files, but works fine with MP3. Cover art is embedded in both file types.
2. File type conversion during upload to my Zen-Micro will not work on my ape files to MP3 and I get a message saying file type not supported. File conversion from mp3 to wma and vice versa works fine.
All my ape files (800 albums) are re-ripped in the last two months and I would really like to stick to this format due to the quality of sound and file size, but I would really like a feedback or comments if this could be a problem locally on my machine with configuarion or otherwise.
Best Regards
