does media server work in v.11?

does media server work for version 11 ".234"?

All I get when I start the server is the media server icon on the task bar. I don't see any window anywhere where I can configure it. I even unistalled and reinstalled.

Library Server has replaced Media Server in MC11

As far as I understand the Media Server Shortcut in the MC program group is only for using Library Server without running the MC GUI. The server must be configured in MC before using it.

There is a thread near the top with MC11 instructions.  In it, you'll find a link to the Library Server instructions.

Configure it under its interface under plug-ins in the tree.
